About Daniel

Daniel Diringer is a professional cellist based in St. Louis, Missouri, devoted to creating music that moves people. With a deep love for expressive, emotional performance, he offers live cello music for weddings, ceremonies, and intimate events throughout the region. He began playing at the age of three, and over the years, the cello became the most natural way for him to express himself.

Trained in the classical tradition, Daniel performed with elite ensembles including the St. Louis Symphony Youth Orchestra and Missouri All-State Orchestra, later pursuing a degree in Cello Performance at the University of Colorado Boulder. Along the way, he studied under world-class musicians like Sara Sant’Ambrogio, Tanya Carey, David Requiro, and Catherine Lehr.

His path, however, hasn’t followed a straight line—part of what gives his music such depth. In 2023, Daniel joined the St. Louis Fire Department, working as an EMT. He later went on to fulfill another dream: playing professional baseball for the Martinez Sturgeon. These chapters taught him discipline, presence, and how to stay grounded in high-pressure environments — lessons that now shape how he shows up through music.

Today, Daniel blends technical mastery with raw emotion and presence. Whether performing on a red rock cliffside or inside a cathedral, his goal is always the same: to create something people feel.

Because in the end, music is more than sound. It’s a way to connect.
